Ana McCloskey is a local resident whose garden, called Creekside, backs on to South Surrey Park above the creek. The garden spreads across two properties. While landscape designers have done structural work on the garden, Ana has been responsible for the planting design.
Ana spoke passionately about her journey developing her local garden in Surrey Hills called Creekside. Ana’s skill as a gardener and designer, as well as her love of flowers, was evident in her beautiful photos of her work in the garden. Ana spoke of the gradual change in her garden over the years as she adapted her garden to climate change. While not apurist, Ana’s garden is now primarily contains native plants.
