Our club member Sandra gave a power point presentation demonstrating the technique for successful rose pruning.  
After pruning remove all debris and dead leaves from around plants and drench plant with lime sulphur.  
Feed roses 4 times a year at the beginning of each season and cover soil with cow manure and pea straw at the beginning of winter to suppress weeds.  
She showed photos of roses from her beautiful garden, a selection from 400 rose plants she has growing.  
Sandra donated a Sir Emanuel, Delbard potted rose as a raffle prize.
