Dwight King from the Dahlia Society of Victoria in his illustrated presentation spoke about the 6 different sizes of blooms ranging from Giant 260mm to Pom Pom less than 50mm and the 16 types (the shape of bloom /petals) some of which are the decorative, cactus, waterlilly, fimbriated cactus & pompom.
Within these types there are many varieties. The UK alone having 44,000 varieties. Dwight’s presentation included their care, growing in the garden and show exhibiting.
