The Royal Horticultural Society of Victoria again held it's Hanging Basket Competition at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show last week, finishing yesterday, Sunday 31st March. A brilliant display of over 400 baskets grown by individual members, Affiliated Groups, TAFE students, Schools and Sunshine groups were entered and on display for the duration of the show, with visitors able to vote for their most popular one.

Camberwell Morning Garden Club’s hanging basket won first prize in the Affiliated Group section.
Many Camberwell Club members entered their own baskets and one member won Best Basket, Best Exhibit (Texture) and First prize in the member section.

The awards will be presented at the Gardeners Day Out in June 2019, at Deakin University’s Burwood campus, Rusden Theatre.

Camberwell Morning Garden Club was very well represented with all its volunteers who assisted – thanks to all who helped.

Become an individual member of the RHSV and grow your own basket.
